Review (151 and 152)

The Voice of God and the power to choose.

We have now entered a new cycle of review. This time, the guiding thought is beautiful and simple: God is only Love, therefore I am too. This affirmation sums up the entire course. Why is this review important? Because you have traveled a long way since lesson 151, and it is time to consolidate what you have gained. The ideas about the Voice of God, the power of choice, non-defense, holiness, grace, all need to be integrated.

Lesson 151 taught us that all things are echoes of the Voice for God. Your senses are false witnesses; you cannot judge from partial evidence. But behind every appearance, the Voice of God speaks. Lesson 152 reminded you that the power of decision belongs to you. Nothing happens that does not represent your choice. Truth has no opposite. These two lessons are the foundation of all that followed: if you listen to the right voice and recognize your power, you can walk in holiness.

This review (171–180) prepares for the end of this section. It gathers the advanced themes of lessons 151–170 under the unifying light that God is only Love. Lesson 172 (review 153–154) and lesson 173 (review 155–156) will continue this movement. Each day of review is an invitation to let the thought “God is only Love, therefore I am too” take root in every fiber of your being.

Practice:

Today, in addition to reviewing the ideas of lessons 151 and 152, repeat the guiding thought as often as possible: “God is only Love, therefore I am too.” When you judge someone, remember that the Voice of God speaks through all things. When you feel powerless, remember that the power of decision is yours. You are love, and love always chooses love.
