Lesson 147

All of which may be summed up in the one word passivity.

Excerpt

By Inaction, one can become the centre of thought, the focus of responsibility, the arbiter of wisdom. Full allowance must be made for others, while remaining unmoved oneself. There must be a thorough compliance with divine principles, without any manifestation thereof. All of which may be summed up in the one word passivity.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to Chuang Tzu, non-action, this way of acting without forcing or putting oneself forward, never wears out: it simply gives back what it has received from Heaven, like an empty and free space. Today, carry out a task without attaching your name or your pride to it, simply giving it back to the world as a gift received.
