Lesson 123

He it is whom you should seek.

Excerpt

The Master I serve succours all things, and does not account it duty. He continues his blessings through countless generations, and does not account it charity. Dating back to the remotest antiquity, He does not account himself old. Covering heaven, supporting earth, and fashioning the various forms of things, He does not account Himself skilled. He it is whom you should seek.

✨ To meditate on today

According to Chuang Tzu, the sage Hsü Yu sums up his teaching by addressing the Principle, the source of all life: He gives each being what suits it, sustains the universe and shapes every form without ever claiming a title or merit. Today, do someone a quiet service without expecting thanks, and whisper inwardly: “It is in You that I move.”
