My left shoulder will become a cock, and I shall herald the approach of morn. My right shoulder will become a cross-bow, and I shall be able to get broiled duck. My buttocks will become wheels; and with my soul for a horse, I shall be able to ride in my own chariot. ✨ To meditate on today
According to Chuang Tzu, Tzu Yü, gravely ill, keeps a calm heart: he thanks the Principle, “the Author” who made him as he is, and accepts with trust and humor all the forms life may still give him. Today, faced with something about yourself you do not like, your body, your age or a limitation, say inwardly: “I do not complain of it,” and look for what it allows you.
