Lesson 100

The perfect Negative principle is majestically passive.

Excerpt

"The perfect Negative principle is majestically passive. The perfect Positive principle is powerfully active. Passivity emanates from heaven above; activity proceeds from earth beneath. The interaction of the two results in that harmony by which all things are produced. There may be a First Cause, but we never see His form. His report fills space.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to Chuang Tzu, Lao Tan explains that all beings are born from the meeting of two forces: yin, the principle of tranquil receptiveness linked to the earth, and yang, the principle of fruitful activity linked to heaven. Today, consciously alternate a moment of action and a moment of tranquil receptiveness, and feel how they come into harmony within you.
