Forsake her not, and she will preserve thee; Love her, and she will keep thee.

Excerpt

For I was a son unto my father, Tender and an only one in front of my mother. And he taught me, and said unto me: Let thy heart hold fast my words, Keep my commandments, and live; Get wisdom, get understanding; Forget not, neither decline from the words of my mouth; Forsake her not, and she will preserve thee; Love her, and she will keep thee.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to the Book of Proverbs, a father passes on to his child what he himself received: love wisdom and she will keep you. Today, think of a precious piece of advice you received from a parent or an elder, put it into practice once, then pass it on to someone in your turn.
