Lesson 352

Thou didst encourage me in my soul with strength.

Excerpt

In the day that I called, Thou didst answer me; Thou didst encourage me in my soul with strength. All the kings of the earth shall give Thee thanks, O LORD, For they have heard the words of Thy mouth. Yea, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD; For great is the glory of the LORD. For though the LORD be high, yet regardeth He the lowly, And the haughty He knoweth from afar.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to the psalmist, on the day he called upon God, he received an answer: courage and a strengthened soul; and the LORD, high as He is, looks with care upon the lowly. Today, when a task frightens you, call inwardly, even in a few words, then take one step forward with the courage you receive.
