I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.

✨ To meditate on today

According to the psalmist, the soul waits for the Lord more eagerly than night watchmen wait for the morning, sure that it will come, and it rests with trust on His word. Today, in a moment of waiting — a queue, a journey, an answer that is slow to come —, move at your own pace and gently repeat: “I wait for the LORD.”
