Lesson 3

Thou hast made him but little lower than the angels, And hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Excerpt

When I behold Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which Thou hast established; What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that Thou thinkest of him? Yet Thou hast made him but little lower than the angels, And hast crowned him with glory and honour.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to the psalmist, before the vastness of the starry sky, the human being discovers how small he is and yet how loved by God, crowned with a dignity he has received. Tonight, if you can, look up at the sky for a minute, then remember the dignity of each person you met today, including your own.
