According to Isaiah, the prophet, God speaks to Jerusalem as to a beloved woman: she will no longer be called “Forsaken” or “Desolate,” but “My delight is in her” and “Espoused.” Today, think of someone who feels alone or forgotten, and let them feel, through a visit, a call or a message, that they matter to you.
