✨ To meditate on today

According to Rabbi Eliezer, in the Sayings of the Fathers (Pirkei Avot), your friend’s honour should be as dear to you as your own, and anger should not easily carry you away; “repent one day before thy death” means, since no one knows that day, returning to the good every day, without waiting. Today, stand up for an absent person who is being spoken ill of, and tonight, simply mend a word or a gesture you regret.
