Shout unto the LORD, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.

Excerpt

Shout unto the LORD, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises. Sing praises unto the LORD with the harp; With the harp and the voice of melody. With trumpets and sound of the horn Shout ye before the King, the LORD. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein; Let the floods clap their hands; Let the mountains sing for joy together; Before the LORD, for He is come to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with equity.

✨ To meditate on today

According to the psalmist, the whole earth is invited to acclaim God with the harp, the trumpets and the horn (the shofar, the ram’s horn sounded on Jewish feasts), and even the sea, the rivers and the mountains join the celebration, for He comes to govern the world with equity. Today, listen to or play a piece of music that gives you joy, and let that joy overflow onto someone else.
