In the work of the creation of this third day, Scripture uses the term twice: “And God saw that it was good,” because on this day the quarrel between the right side and the left side ceased, thereby producing the union of the two sides. God therefore said “good” to the right side and “good” to the left side, words which constituted peace.

✨ To meditate on today
According to the Zohar, on the third day of creation God said “good” twice, once for the right side and once for the left (in the Kabbalah, kindness and rigour), and this double “good” ended their quarrel and made peace. Today, in a disagreement, take time to sincerely acknowledge what is good on both sides — yours and the other person’s — before seeking who is right.
