Lesson 126

Thou hast remembered the earth, and watered her.

Excerpt

Thou hast remembered the earth, and watered her, greatly enriching her, with the river of God that is full of water; Thou preparest them corn, for so preparest Thou her. Watering her ridges abundantly, settling down the furrows thereof, Thou makest her soft with showers; Thou blessest the growth thereof.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to the psalmist, God watches over the earth: He waters it with rain, prepares the corn and blesses what grows. Today, as you drink a glass of water or water a plant, take a moment to recognize all the care it took for life to nourish you.
