Lesson 124

Thou crownest the year with Thy goodness.

Excerpt

Thou crownest the year with Thy goodness; and Thy paths drop fatness. The pastures of the wilderness do drop; and the hills are girded with joy. The meadows are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, yea, they sing.

✨ To meditate on today

According to the psalmist, God crowns the year with His goodness, and all of nature, from the pastures to the hills, overflows with joy and song. Today, look around you for three signs of this abundance — a tree, a fruit, a ray of sunlight — and name them inwardly as gifts received.
