Lesson 112

Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

Excerpt

Only for God wait thou in stillness, my soul; For from Him cometh my hope. He only is my rock and my salvation, My high tower, I shall not be moved. Upon God resteth my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, ye people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to the psalmist, the soul finds calm by waiting for God alone, its rock and its shelter, and he invites all peoples to pour out their hearts before Him. Today, take a moment to tell God, holding nothing back, what is on your heart, as one confides in a trusted friend, then let yourself rest.
