Mantic uttaïr, The Two Foxes

Two foxes, male and female, shared the same food and enjoyed each other’s company. A king, who was in the plain with panthers and falcons, separated the two foxes. Then the female asked the male: “O seeker of holes! tell me where we shall meet again?” He replied: “If ever we are to be together again, it will only be in the shop of a furrier in the city.”
