According to Ghazali, intuitions that come from God are not reserved for prophets: just as polished iron becomes a mirror, any mind, through patient discipline, can become able to receive them. Today, choose a small “polishing” for your heart: a moment of silence, a prayer, or a screen turned off an hour earlier tonight.
