✨ To meditate on today

According to Saadi, the Persian poet of the Gulistan (“The Rose Garden”), a friendship is better kept when one knows how to be missed rather than overwhelming the other with one’s presence: a little longing nourishes affection, whereas excess can wear it out. Today, write a few words to a friend you miss, and in your relationships give each person the space they need.
