Let not the prison of nature detain you, But come forth and view the art of the Divine, Contemplate the appearance of the heavens, So that praise and wonder for the Truth will be thine. The arch of the high heavens enclosing both worlds Is called "The Throne of the Merciful," And like the heart of man is ever moving, Never resting for a moment.

✨ To meditate on today
According to Shabistari, a Persian Sufi poet, we should not stay shut up in the “prison of nature”, that is, in our material concerns alone, but raise our eyes to the sky, “Throne of the Merciful”, ever moving like the human heart. Today, go outside for a few minutes, look at the sky — clouds, stars or light — and let a simple praise for its beauty rise within you.
