According to Attar, a Persian Sufi poet, who has just told how King Alexander disguised himself as a mere messenger without anyone recognizing him, the King — God — knows how to reach every heart: even when He seems to ignore your “cell”, your small inner dwelling, He lives there in secret. Today, if you feel alone or forgotten, place your hand on your heart for a moment and remember that He already dwells there.
