Excerpt
In winter He spreads silver snow; in autumn, the gold of yellowing leaves. If He tinges a thorn red, it is because it is dyed with the bud’s blood. He gives four petals to the jasmine, and sets a red cap upon the tulip’s head.

✨ To meditate on today
According to Attar, a Persian Sufi poet, each season carries a beauty that God places in it with care: the snow, the gold of the leaves, the petals of the jasmine. Today, stop for a moment in front of a flower, a leaf or the sky, and give thanks for what you see.
