✨ To meditate on today
According to Shabistari, prayer truly becomes yours when you have staked everything and given yourself away; it then becomes “a joy of the eyes,” as the Prophet said of prayer that it was the coolness of his eyes, and the distance between the soul and God fades away. Today, during a prayer or a moment of recollection, ask for nothing: simply offer yourself entirely, with your worries and your joys.
