Thou openest the door to admit hearts every moment!

Excerpt

Thou openest the door to admit hearts every moment! How many letters Thou writest with Thy Almighty pen! Through marveling thereat stones become as wax. Thou writest the Nun of the brow, the Sad of the eye, And the Jim of the ear, to amaze reason and sense.

✨ To meditate on today

According to Rumi, God, who opens the door to hearts at every moment, is a calligrapher who writes His wonders even on our faces: the brow has the curve of the Arabic letter Nun (ن), the eye that of Sad (ص), the ear that of Jim (ج). Today, look at a face with wonder, as at a letter traced by God.
