According to Rûmî in the Masnavi, when the heart is adorned and freed from greed, the God of mercy comes to sit there as on His throne, and a direct bond is formed between the heart and Him. Today, give up one small useless craving, a purchase, a screen, a treat, and offer that small freed space to God in a silent prayer.
