Tukaram, Poem 3221

If you wish to churn milk, there are things you
must do and things you must not do; this is
the secret of butter. You must not spoil the
process, or all the butter will disappear. You
must take care of what rises to the surface; you
must not let the essence be lost.
Tuka says,
When you have satisfied your hunger, then you
should lick your fingers.
