Tukaram, Poem 3108

If the Ganges went to the sea, and he refused to
give her a place, where could she go? Is the
water vexed with creatures that live in the water?
Does a mother refuse to shelter her children?
Tuka says, I have come to seek your protection;
why are you silent?
