Tukaram, Poem 3034

How can I win the favour of the saints? How
can I remember God’s names? This is my
anxious thought; when I lie down to sleep I cannot
close my eyes. When I take my meals, I find no
food sweet or wholesome; I feel the pleasures of
the senses a burden.
