Tukaram, Poem 2172

We sit with our back towards Thee; we do
what our minds think fit. But Thou know-
est the many kinds of Thy children and their
likings. We urge each our own wishes, according
to what each desires. O mother Vitthal, says Tuka,
Thou art never heedless of us.
