Tukaram, Poem 2063

Why have you narrowed yourself into this small compass? Swallow the world at one gulp. Break your fast; wash away worldly cares; let not one delay follow another. Darkness had fallen within your little house; this troubled you sorely. Though you fling your own little house from you, yet you carry it secretly under your arm. Tuka says, Agonizing pains attend your fond desire.
