Tukaram, Poem 2062

Desire makes you embrace what once you abandoned; what avails it to give forth that you have renounced the world? You should implore mercy of God, taking your own Mind for a witness of your purpose. You need not go afar or return, within You is the witness of your acts. Tuka says, He is an ocean of mercy; He snaps the fetter of life in a moment.
