Tukaram, Poem 1845

Wipe off from me the source of birth and death. I will ask Thee for what I need; I will disclose to Thee my innermost thoughts; if I may, I will approach Thy feet.
If thou shouldst let me seem forlorn, the loss will be Thine; my life, says Tuka, is in Thy power.
