Tukaram, Poem 1682

To whom can I hand in my accounts? I dwell
alone by myself. What do I need to fill up
my measure? What is near me or far from me?
The number “one” serves to indicate ten; but
see what is left if you rub out that stroke. Even
so, says Tuka, all my burdens are lifted from me.
