Tukaram, Poem 1681

To pay off my debts I have clung to Thee; give
me, O Narayana, a just account of them. I
have redeemed myself by surrendering my body;
let all my sins pass from me. Till now I clung to
my own soul; the interest on the debt troubled
me greatly. Tuka says, I have persuaded myself
that my body is Your own dwelling-place.
