Tukaram, Poem 1351

The paiks have cleared the roads and pathways, driving away multitudes of enemies. They will overcome their enemies and appoint them householders. When they enter a village, they can tell from men chatting at random which are their enemies. When they quit the place, they give alms to others and spread confidence throughout the world and so increase men’s comforts.
