Catch the ball while it is in the air! One who misses will have it thrown at his back. The ball with us is the three qualities; catch it and throw it from you; with uplifted face fix your mind and your eyes upon it. One who springs up and catches it aloft,—he is an active fellow; a duffer gets confused in turning about. If any one is caught idling, he is not allowed to sit down; he has to bend over and take his companions on his back. With his head bent down he has to suffer mountains of pain; he carries his burden, and the rest stand round in a circle to compel him. Tuka says, He alone has excellent fun who wins; some one else loses and has his face blackened.
