O come, my comrades, let us play together, wise and simple alike; let us sing the name and beat the cymbals for our own profit. Take what you have gained; Panduranga is generous in love. To-day is a golden day; we have set marks on our persons. There be some that wander through the thorny jungle, through the haunts of snakes, but we in singing and dancing find a joy greater than theirs. Tuka says, Brahma and the rest find it hard to attain the joy of Krishna’s presence, but we have attained it freely by uttering His name.
