Tukaram, Poem 914

If a diamond survives, when you place it on an
anvil and strike it with a hammer, that stone
will fetch its price; while a false one is crushed.
That is a real gem, which, if you bind a thread
upon it, will not suffer it to be burned. Tuka says,
He is truly a saint who can endure the blows of the
world.
