Lesson 345

Brahman is all and remains indivisible.

Excerpt

So the fact is that Brahman is all and remains indivisible. He is ever realised. The man does not however know it. He must know it. Knowledge means the overcoming of obstacles which obstruct the revelation of the Eternal Truth that the Self is the same as Brahman. The obstacles form altogether your idea of separateness as an individual. Therefore the present attempt will result in the truth being revealed that the Self is not separate from Brahman.

✨ To meditate on today

According to Ramana Maharshi, Brahman — the divine Reality, one and indivisible — is always present; what keeps us from recognising it is only the idea of being a separate individual, and true knowledge consists in removing this obstacle: your Self is not separate from Brahman. Today, whenever you feel isolated or apart, gently remind yourself: "I am not separate; I am part of the Whole."
