Lesson 163

Merge your individuality in that Oneness.

Excerpt

Surrender yourself at first at the feet of the Guru and learn to know who the ‘I’ in you is. After finding the source of that ‘I’, merge your individuality in that Oneness - which is Self-existent and devoid of all duality. It is that Name that permeates the three worlds.

✨ To meditate on today

According to the poet-saint Namdev, quoted by Ramana Maharshi, we must seek where the “I” comes from; going back to its source, we merge into a Oneness without duality, the divine Name that permeates the three worlds, heaven, earth and the underworld. Today, each time you say or think “I,” gently remember this source and let your heart widen.
