Oh that Thou wouldest altogether by Thy presence, kindle, consume, and transform me into Thyself; that I may be made one spirit with Thee, by the grace of inward union, and the melting of earnest love! Suffer me not to go away from Thee hungry and dry; but deal mercifully with me, as oftentimes Thou hast dealt wondrously with Thy saints.

✨ To meditate on today
According to The Imitation of Christ, whoever draws near to God, especially in communion, longs to be transformed by His presence as wood by fire, until becoming one spirit with Him in love. Today, before a meeting or a task, simply ask: “Lord, transform me by Your love,” and let this prayer change the way you are with others.
