According to the Letter of James, Job, the righteous man of the Bible who stayed faithful through great trials, saw God’s goodness lift him up in the end, for the Lord is full of compassion and mercy. Today, offer patient listening to someone going through a hard time, without trying to explain everything: your presence can already be a sign of this compassion.
