Lesson 230

The peace of God, which surpasseth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Excerpt

Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I say, rejoice. Let your modesty be known to all men. The Lord is nigh. Be nothing solicitous; but in every thing, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasseth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

✨ To meditate on today

According to Saint Paul, in his letter to the Philippians, instead of worrying, we can entrust everything to God in prayer, with thanksgiving, and His peace, greater than anything we can understand, then comes to guard our heart. Today, when a worry arises, turn it into a short prayer that begins with a thank you, then place it in God’s hands.
