Lesson 204

One body and one Spirit.

Excerpt

I therefore, a prisoner in the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation in which you are called, with all humility and mildness, with patience, supporting one another in charity. Careful to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. One body and one Spirit; as you are called in one hope of your calling.

✨ To meditate on today

According to Saint Paul, in his letter to the Ephesians written from prison, living out one’s calling means keeping unity through humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with one another in love. Today, faced with someone who irritates you, consciously choose patience: let a flaw pass without pointing it out, to preserve the bond of peace.
