My God, how many ways dost Thou lead souls! We read of Saints who left absolutely nothing at their death, not the least thing by which to remember them, not even a single line of writing; and there are others like our holy Mother, St. Teresa, who have enriched the Church with their sublime teaching, and have not hesitated to reveal "the secrets of the King," that He may be better known and better loved. Which of these two ways is more pleasing to Our Lord? It seems to me that they are equally so.

✨ To meditate on today
According to Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, God leads each person along a different path: some saints left great writings, like Saint Teresa of Avila, others left no trace at all, and both paths please Him equally. Today, instead of comparing yourself to someone, thank God for your own way of serving, however discreet, and live it fully in one task of your day.
