It is like a mustard seed.

Excerpt

The disciples said to Jesus: β€œTell us what the divine Rule of God is like.” He said to them: β€œIt is like a mustard seed. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it falls upon prepared soil, it produces a great plant and becomes a shelter for the birds of the sky.”

✨ To meditate on today

According to the Gospel of Thomas, Jesus compares the divine Rule of God, that is, His Kingdom, to the tiny mustard seed which, in prepared soil, becomes a great plant where the birds find shelter. Today, sow a very small seed of kindness (a smile, a service, a word of encouragement) and prepare your heart to welcome it, without trying to see what it will become.
