Lesson 117

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction: who crowneth thee with mercy and compassion.

Excerpt

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and let all that is within me bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and never forget all He hath done for thee. Who forgiveth all thy iniquities: who healeth all thy diseases. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction: who crowneth thee with mercy and compassion.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to the psalmist, the soul is invited to bless God and not to forget His benefits: He forgives, heals, lifts up and crowns with goodness. Today, instead of dwelling on what is lacking, inwardly name one blessing you have received each time you go through a door.
