Seek the treasure that does not fail, that endures.

Excerpt

Jesus said: “The Divine Rule of God is like a merchant who had a store of merchandise, then found a pearl. This merchant was prudent; he sold the merchandise and bought the one pearl for himself. So it is with you: seek the treasure that does not fail, that endures, where no moth comes to eat and no worm destroys.”

✨ To meditate on today

According to the Gospel of Thomas, Jesus compares the reign of God to a wise merchant who sells everything for a single pearl: He invites us to seek the treasure that lasts, which nothing can spoil. Today, ask yourself what this pearl is in your life, a relationship, inner peace or faith, and give it a real moment.
