The field where that friend of the world shall save myriads of koṭis of living beings will be most beautiful, pretty, and delightful to people at large.

According to the Lotus of the True Law, the disciple who will one day become a Buddha, “the friend of the world,” will dwell in a land that is beautiful and delightful for all, where he will help countless beings (a koṭi is ten million) to be freed from suffering. Today, make the place where you live or work a little more welcoming for those who pass through: a smile, a tidy space, an open door.
