I preach with ever the same voice.

To thousands of koṭis of living beings I preach a pure and most bright law that has but one scope, to wit, deliverance and rest. I preach with ever the same voice, constantly taking enlightenment as my text. For this is equal for all; no partiality is in it, neither hatred nor affection.

According to the Lotus of the True Law, the Buddha teaches thousands of koṭis of beings (a koṭi is ten million) one and the same law, which leads to deliverance and to the peace of Nirvana, without making any difference between those he likes or dislikes. Today, speak to everyone with the same voice and the same kindness, whether or not you feel affection for them.
